Due to the location of our storage facility, at present, we can only supply clothing in Yorkshire
Our intentions are to expand on this during 2019
Due to unscrupulous people applying for clothing bundles, we are now means testing ALL applications
Unlike other organisations, we are NOT looking to just recycle your donated items.
Our main aim is to find a much BETTER use for them.
What happens with your donation?
Where possible good quality items of clothing will be passed on to children and their families who are in a less fortunate position than others, what we can't find a suitable home for will then go to our recycling department, this provides another welcome source of income towards our appeals.

UNFORTUNATELY, the items we CANNOT accept are
Electrical Items or White Goods ,Large Bulky or Heavy Items, Duvets and Pillows and Furniture
WHY RECYCLE?
Did you know that in 2016 the amount of clothing which ended up in landfill sites in the UK was a whopping 300,000 tonnes? An additional 60,000 Tonnes were
incinerated.
Discarded clothing was an amazing 4th behind only housing, transport and food in terms of damage to our environment.
Discarding clothing into landfill contributed 26 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions from production to disposal.
We will NEVER send any clothing to landfill.
So, WHATEVER you donate can only enhance our cause which of course goes on to benefit the children.
All our Volunteers will have the correct Permits and Photographic Identification Cards.
They will be wearing High Visable Vests clearly displaying our charity details.
This will enable you to ask any questions you may have.
PLASTIC BAGS.
Due to the high cost of providing a plastic bag to all households plus the cost to the
environment we will not post a bag with this pamphlet but will provide one on request. We only use re usable bags.
We are sure you will agree that this is a wonderful way to cut back on the Damaging Impact that plastic has on our environment.
